Josiorme Da Silva, of Hyannis, won the seven-figure sum playing the $5 "$1,000,000 Monopoly Doubler" scratch-off game.

Da Silva elected to take the $650,000 lump sum (before taxes) rather than the annuity.

He says he plans to take a vacation, buy a new work van, and invest in his company with the money.

Da Silva purchased the winning ticket at West Main Gas and Diesel, 577 West Main St. in Hyannis. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
